The Forest Retreat  is surrounded by forest. It has one bedroom with full bathroom and a well supplied kitchen in an open floor plan. The bedroom has a queen bed and windows looking out into the trees. The bath has glass and ceramic tile in the tub and shower. There is also a covered patio has table chairs and a grill that faces the private woods.
This is a casual house that puts people at ease the moment they enter. It was built by master furniture maker Wolf Sitter, and designed by his artist/photographer wife, Charlotte Bell,.

The location is ideal: 20 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from the trendy SOCO and Rainy street districts, 15 minutes from the capital and the University of Texas. Even better, it is 3 blocks from the Hike and Bike trail. When you are in the house it feels like the country since it backs up to a wooded greenbelt.

There is google fiber wifi, cable TV, AC and heat.

It rents for 165 per night, 3 night minimum, 1100 per week, 1850 per month.
Pricing is 195 during festivals.
There is also a 15% Texas tax for stays shorter than one month and a $50 cleaning fee.
